Why?

According to the HSE manual handling accounts for over a third of all workplace injuries, affecting over 1 million people a year and costing society £5.7 billion.

This course will benefit learners through developing an understanding of the principles of SAFE manual handling, enabling them to apply what they have learned to their own working environment and make practices safer.

How?

The course is taught over 3 hours and is theory based with no practical work.  The course includes a theory assessment (multiple choice and short answer question paper).  Some individual study time outside of the course is recommended.
